It is via cashback so better make sure you abide by all T&C to get your money back.
  • I just got a Sony Ericsson W800i on free 12mth contract. £20 per month with full cashback 50mins and 100 texts. so great for light users formerly on Pay as you go (like me)

i can't see this deal either
  • Similar deal from e2save.com is a 12 month contract for Motorola L6 on Vodafone (50 mins & 100 texts/month) for £0.00! You do pay £20/month but then claim it back with vouchers so apart from lost interest for the few months you lend them the money, its free. We got two for the kids instead of the increasingly costly PAYG we did before. Only one phone each though (me & the wife) and remember to cancel the insurance after the initial 3 months free.
    Good Luck!

I may be mistaken, and apologies if I am, but it seems a little strange that a number of new members have joined on this specific thread and are so enthusiastic about certain deals. Now I know we are looking for good deals, and I am looking for a 12 month free (yes, it is possible and I have been successful over the past three years with CPW, OSPS, and Mobileshop - so yes, I do believe in Santa Claus Del Boy ;-) if that is the criteria), it is wrong to say there are no catches. The catch with any deal like this is buyer beware - you need to be extra sure about the T&Cs and the companies that you are dealing with, and be confident that you will indeed get your cashback. You also have to pay out the monthly line rental (and be able to afford to do this every month), before being able to claim the money back. A quick search on these boards, and elsewhere, will highlight the reputations, good and bad, of various companies in this market (including Simply3g).

There are a range of different deals for the w800i (clearance phone) on E2 Save as below:

For the last 3 years I have had completely free mobile phone contracts for myself and my 4 children, so yes, they do work, you just have to make sure you remember to claim the cashback at the correct time and do the correct paperwork.
