Hello All,
It about time to renew my mobile contract and I want to get the SPV C500 or SPV C500s.
The deals I have found so far are:
http://www.e2save.com/mobile/phones/disphandset.php?network=orange&handset=SPVC500
Your Plan Crossnet 120 - £25.00 - £12.50** 120 (+120 1st 6mths) - 12 Months ½ Price Line Rental
OR
http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/handsetsearch.aspx?searchType=2049&phoneDesc=SPV_C500_Orange&ID=1
£25.00 Off Peak 1,000 - 1,000 Off Peak XNet Mins but with 9 months half price line rental.
However, they are both part of a cash back plan, and I would prefer the discount to be all up front (as I dont want to be in a situarion like people who bought off fwdcelluar)
Anyone got any better deals??
PS: i know i can get some extra cash back by using a link through R-points.
PPS: the links above are not referral links
Thanks in advance
Bren

Rpoints pay just £1.25 for e2save.
You can get £18.75 (£25x75%) through funds4me.0 -
I've been looking for it on a good deal without cash back, but no joy yet. What I am thinking of doing is getting the Samsung D500 on BT Mobile's 200 xnet minutes deal, sell the D500 and buy an SPV C500 on PAYG.
The BT Mobile deal is £14.99 for six months, then £33 but you can downgrade the tariff. You get 200 xnet minutes, 50 texts and 1000 minutes of up to two minute calls included.0 -
wouldn't that mean the SPV would be locked to the orange network and you would have a BT sim card?Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

More than likely but I would just get it unlocked.0

Be prepared to pay £20 for ulocking! :eek:GeoThermal wrote:More than likely but I would just get it unlocked.0 -
Ulocking is expensive, this is the only people that seem to do it:
http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ £20
I haven't found any software or alternatives. Anyone know any?I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.0 -
Yeah I knew unlocking it was £20 but the D500 sells for £200+ and the C500 is £138 on PAYG so even with unlocking you should have a few quid left over.0

The guys that run imei-check get a load of C500's and work out how to unlock them themselves. End result, you can unlock your phone but they have a lot of dead hansets from experimenting on them. They're just recouping their costs.0 -
Beware Dialaphone. Pushy salesmen, wont answer queries over the phone saying 'its all on the website' and most importantly the cashback goes to your airtime account, not as a cheque payment to you.
