  • £5000 is a lot of crispy socks, you should have realised something wasn't right.

really wanted to let people know how unscrupulous and irresponsible this company is.

Actually, it is you who are irresponsible and now attempting to be unscrupulous.

    1) you take out a blank cheque book

    2) you hand it over to someone not capable of understanding the consequences of using it

    3) you accuse the provider of doing something wrong because of your own complete carelessness.

Next time stick him behind the wheel of a car and send him off to kill someone, then you can blame the car manufacturer.

I have little time for the networks but none for people who blame everything and everyone but themselves for their own total lack of personal responsibilty. There's a constant stream of them on here and it's a sad reflection on society.

100% correct. Its your son, your responsibility.

If you dont think you could trust him with a contract phone you shouldnt have given him one, and gave him a PAYG phone instead.
I know loads of parents including my own who wouldnt sign a contract for me, maybe its because they are not completely irresponsible?
  • You must have a large credit limit then - I only have £90. If I exceed it, my network bars my account.

I agree with the above few posts - you chose to give your son (disability has nothing to do with this) a contract phone in YOUR name. Perhaps this was a silly mistake, but it was YOUR mistake.

Pay the bill - or arrange a repayment plan.

Perhaps a pay and go is more suitable?
