Fenton, Jesus Christ!

I did feel for the bloke trying to get his dog back from chasing the deer across Richmond Park. You can hear the terror in his voice when they get near the road, thank god it didnt end in tragedy. And no doubt Fenton will be kept on lead from now on - a little warning to us all.
So many spoofs have been made on you tube now, but me and OH did larf at this one

If, you are the one person who hasnt seen the original Fenton, Jesus Christ you tube, watch it first here before watching the spoof

Brilliant!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won't be offended.0 -
OMG I was crying at the first one, so funny. RIP Jimmy!0

My OH isnt one for laughing easily (:() but last night, he was having to wipe his eyes and couldnt get his breath watching that spoof one.0

I still feel sorry for the bloke. He's gone into hiding, probably mortified while the rest of the country laughs at his fear. I'd hate it if this had happened to me and all these spoofs were appearing.
I know I sound like a complete spoilsport, but imagine if that were you possibly fearing for your dogs life, or the deer's life, or imagine if you were one of the people in those cars watching a stampeding herd of deer bearing down on you.0 -
That spoof is fab! I do know what you mean,PO, but I do think that those of us who have gone through the dog teenage years when the 100% recall means 'in my own time, whatevaaaa ' wil just think 'there for the grace of God!!'
Poor Benton/Fenton.... I bet he hasn't moved out of the doghouse since that fateful day!!0 -

Well, that's why I struggle to find it funny. I've watched my dog go tearing off across a field that I thought was fenced towards a flock of sheep, I've felt that heart stopping terror that you're about to lose your dog and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Its no fun at all.0 -

I know, I've been there too. In fact Sid managed to chase a flock of crows on Saturday so that he was around 100 metres away from me.... it was funny at first, but then I realised how far away he was! Luckily I had the whistle, he stopped dead and charged back like a dog possessed! But it could have been a much longer walk for me!
I guess it's the same as we laugh when people trip up... never funny when it happens to us, but You've Been Framed does make me giggle.0 -

Funny if the dog had been shot dead?
Funny if one deer or a dozen died?
Funny if a deer caused a motorist to die? Even funnier if all three happened at once.???
A friend died when a horse ran into his windscreen, a hoof struck his head.
We didn't laugh, and nor did his widow or son.0 -
But none of your Doomsday scenarios happened did they? Are we not allowed to find anything amusing anymore? We have to worry about the what ifs?
It is possible for responsible pet owners to have a sense of humour, you know? But not in all cases, obviously;D0
