Can someone please help
I am in an 24 Month Vodafone contract @ £36 pm, finishing June 2012
My issue is that mainly I only use my phone in 4 locations, 3 of which I get no reception what so ever.
I regularly cannot make calls at all, or they cut of half way through.
I have had the phone checked twice with new sims. I have checked with vodafone about coverage and told that 3 of the 4 locations are in bad areas for them, how unlucky is that.
I have complained endlessly but to no avail.
Can I take some action against them for this or get a reduced bill.
Or is there some way of boosting the phones signal. Its an Iphone 3GS
I dont mind paying for a phone, but not when I cannot use it.
Help me

You cannot take action against them as the coverage checker is only for guidance and it would seem you checked the coverage after taking out the contract?
Vodafone do a signal booster for indoors however I do not think in your case it would make any difference as I am guessing it's indoors and outdoors where you are effected.
You could try asking for a reduced bill but you will probably not have much luck as they will state you should of checked coverage before signing up and iPhone tariffs as far as I know cannot be downgraded.0 -
Your time for complaining is limited to a week or so when service is provided. If, later, the service deteriorates then there is an opportunity to get a rebate (as they may have had to relocate or resite a base station). If they haven't, then the fact it works everywhere else means you'll have to lump it as try do not provide any 100% coverage guarantee.
They do offer a BB device that acts as a femtocell (mini base) but it does cost, and may help you get the most from your commitment.0
