I would like to keep riding my bicycle through the colder season but my prodigious sized ears are getting so cold 'me ed urts'
Only thing I can find is THESE

Which you can wear under your helmet. Curiously I can't find any pictures of people wearing one.... do they make you look a complete dork?
Anyone got any other suggestions? I know I could go without a helmet and just wear a woolly hat but I preach to the kids to wear their helmets so I need to set an example, and I believe in them too.
Cheers

In my experience, if you can't avoid looking like a dork, don't try to... I'd probably use my old snowboarding hat, with all the tentacles and things, i'd look like a Japanese pr0n movie on two wheels

I just wear an old wooly hat under mine , let the strap out a notch or two and cut the bobble off.You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

One word - buff.
Perfect solution, so thin you don't notice it, buy two and use one to stop draughts going down your neck, Superb things for cycling.
Example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Multifunctional-headware-cycling-running-ski-scarf-cap-hairband-mask-buffs-NEW-/180758060221?pt=UK_Cycling_Clothing&var=&hash=item6fc4f1cf330 -
Yep - Buff is the right answer. It's only numbers.0

I just bought one of these, it is far too warm to wear yet!

Buff is the way to go and you can pick them up cheaply (or imitations) from TK Maxx and magazines regularly give them away free, I think last month though. I also have a skull cap from regatta for the really cold weather which fits very nicely under my vary airy helmet, it's either a skiing or walking one.0

Take a look at the Rapha winter hat. Likely to be more comfortable and warmer than a buff.0

I have various solutions for cold weather (depending on how cold) including one of these. In my opinion they make you look no more of a dork than wearing a helmet does and I do wear a helmet so why not.sillygoose wrote: »I would like to keep riding my bicycle through the colder season but my prodigious sized ears are getting so cold 'me ed urts'

Similar to the buff, I've got something along these lines:

The buff is warm enough for the coldest of cold weather once under your helmet and moving. You can double the layer thickness at the front where wind is highest.0
