I want my money back.
Monthly figures are, of course, just noise.
Inflation at 5% and house prices dropping by 3%pa is pretty significant however, IMHO at least.0 -
KABOOM!
I can't imagine there will be much bullish action on this thread.
Interestingly its the terraced houses taking the biggest gubbing. YOY fall of 5.2 %.0 -

London is -1.6% in the latest month. But then if you look at the disagregated data, the largest drop in any one borough for that month is -0.8%, with many positive for the month.
I'm not sure what maths you have to do to add up numbers that range between -0.8% and +1.8% in order to come out with an average of -1.6%. I thought the Land Registry was like for like - and therefore this cannot be explained by the overall average for London being pulled down by a higher percentage of sales happening in cheaper areas of London. Or am I just being !!!!!!?
Perhaps someone can explain that to me to I can’t see why the overall drop is twice the highest individual but I’m sure there is an explanation.0 -
Where does it say that Probate sales are not included?
If they are not, then that would explain why certain 'SOLD' properties do not appear on Zoopla and the rest when sold .... I have even claimed that the EA's are lieing when saying these were sold .. oooops!Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
All I have to say is...

It's from the land registry report (there's a link on page 1 of this thread)Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Or as Sibley or Hamish would say, 'why are you posting a map of the average temperature rises by region in England and Wales? It's really getting hot in the North.' :whistle:0 -
London up annually and the South East down only 1.4% over the year (and up month on month). Two different markets here - London and the South East (doing rather well actually) and the rest (doing abysmally).
Thanks for translating that complex concept Pimp.
WHY HASN'T SOMEONE MENTIONED THIS BEFORE!
