Can I very belatedly join please? Starting weight on the 1/12 was 170lbs and I am now at 164. I figure I need to lose about 30lbs more so plan to be a long term member (after failing miserably before....)

  • Morning all. 12st 8.5lbs on the scales this morning. Aiming to be closer to 12 than 13 by the new year. Good luck with Christmas guys xxx
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j
  • OOps computer been having a bad week and froze whilst posting last weeks weight and I forgot to get around to doing it again. I have since put on a bit again. So This morning I am 141lb:j Not quite below 10 stone for Christmas but at least I am still going the right way. I am fully anticipating though I might go backwards for the next couple of weeks though:o I am hoping though that it might not be as backwards as normal though if you see what I mean. Previously I would eat any chocolates thrown at me this year I intend to be a bit more selective 70% cocco solids or I am just not interested;) I think I will be a bit dissappointed with myself if after having worked this hard for four months if I throw it away in just a week or so.

Well everybody have an excellent Christmas and speak to you all again soon.:xmastree:
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D

I'm down to 66.2 kg after gaining a bit a few days ago. Down from 66.6 kg on 1st December. That's not even one pound, never mind 7. However, so long as the general direction is down, I'm happy with it.

We're having a 4-bird roast from Aldi tomorrow, got fresh cranberries to make our own cranberry sauce, going to make sugar-free raspberry jelly with fresh raspberries. We've plenty of food, we shan't starve, lucky we can do as we want and eat what we like.

Thanks for this. In fact I'm down a little bit more this morning, down to 66.1 kg which makes 0.5 kg since 1st of the month, 1.10 pounds.

    Slow and steady....

With best wishes for the New Year

    Hi all,

I've officially abandoned my December weight loss as it just wasn't happening so I decided to have a couple of weeks off and will start again in January. I didn't over indulge on Christmas Day as much as I had previous years - missed out the cooked breakfast and stuck to toast and managed to resist second helpings of pudding and the cheese and biscuit course and only had 2 glasses of wine, so it could have been worse. However I have since, scoffed nearly a full box of chocolates, so not all good.

Belated Seasons Greetings to all on this thread and thanks for being there through-out 2011. I have managed to lose nearly 2 stone in total since joining you! Good luck and Best wishes for 2012, see you on the January thread!

Morning all. I don't know how I've managed to do it but lost 2lbs this week taking me down the 12st 6 1/2. I took Christmas Eve afternoon and Christmas Day off and ate everything in sight! Went to bed Christmas day feeling extremely uncomfortable and bloated and was glad to be back to it boxing day. See you all in the new thread.

Edit : Just checked my BMI and I'm now overweight and no longer obese :D Go me!!!
