I was in Kendal the second week in Jan and it was closing down - though there wasn't anything for £1 at that time!:rolleyes:0

i had assumed the closure of the cardiff one was because of st davids2 - didnt realise it was a more widespread thing.
rachie, be warned - if they are closing they may no longer accept nectar vouchers as a form of paymentknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Bridgend one isnt closing
went there this morning getting £10 off my £21 spend
was talking to the lady about the closures,
and she said that yes some stores have closed, due to leases expiring etc .
and that there was talk of the company being bought out or something but that its not going to happen now
glad i went in there now as their new ranges are really nice and picked up some nice items for my sons bday in April
was gutted there were no £1 bargains though0 -
sign gone from Haverfordwest now (I thought I might have imagined it but my friend saw it as well!) She isn't as nosey as me though - so she didn't cross examine the staff as to wether it was staying open/what was happening.0
