Adams shops - closing down ???

I was in Kendal the second week in Jan and it was closing down - though there wasn't anything for £1 at that time!:rolleyes:

i had assumed the closure of the cardiff one was because of st davids2 - didnt realise it was a more widespread thing.

rachie, be warned - if they are closing they may no longer accept nectar vouchers as a form of payment

:mad: knew i should have spent them @ xmas but there was nothing that caught my eye ,mind you the Bridgend one is always sh1te :rolleyes:

Even H.west has better choice !

Is it maybe something to do with the fact they have put Mini Mode sections into Boots? Mini Mode is an offshoot from Adams.

In Bangor other day with work and went into town lunchtime (mainly to go to adams!) and saw that there had been a closing down sale and it had closed!!! Any ideas if the Llandudno one is still trading? thanks

I went to Hounslow and Ealing stores. Stuff was reduced but not £1

Bridgend one isnt closing

went there this morning getting £10 off my £21 spend

was talking to the lady about the closures,
and she said that yes some stores have closed,due to leases expiring etc .

and that there was talk of the company being bought out or something but that its not going to happen now

glad i went in there now as their new ranges are really nice and picked up some nice items for my sons bday in April

was gutted there were no £1 bargains though

sign gone from Haverfordwest now (I thought I might have imagined it but my friend saw it as well!) She isn't as nosey as me though - so she didn't cross examine the staff as to wether it was staying open/what was happening.
