Incredible Shrinking Items
I just want to know if I'm going crazy but...
I always remember bars of soap being 125g as standard. A few years ago they reduced to 100g. Now I see Palmolive has reduced again to 90g. The price has stayed the same. Am I imagining these reductions or do we have shrinking soaps?
Also - Sainsburys own brand croquettes used to be 907g packets for 90p - they've not been replaced by an improved recipe pack at 750g. To add to this the price has jumped to £1.00
Has anyone else noticed shrinking goods and expanding prices?

Yep, this has been a thing for ages. Happens with chocolate - they reduce the size of the thing and then after a while they put the price up. I suppose it might help us lose weight, but when it comes to soap it just means we'll be stinky and skint...

When I took a new pack home, I noticed Iceland cling-film had gone from 40m to 35m but still cost a £1. What made me laugh was that both had 'longer and stronger' printed on them.0
