Morning Jue. I thought I was up early but you beat me to it.
I've done a HHI and sent DS3 back to bed at 5.45am. He's excited about his football.
I'm trying to beat a cold but it is getting the better of me. It woke me up early as it has done for the last few days. It's not good as I'm struggling to stay awake in the evenings past 8pm!
DS2 is still at my in laws. He want's to come home, says that he misses us (for that substitute they don't have Sky TV). I've told him that he has to change his behaviour and we are at somewhat of dead end. My requests are that
1. He regulates his sleeping hours and only lies in at the weekend
2. He starts doing some exercise 3 times a week (to disperse the testoterone)
3. He stops buying cr*p drinks and food that send him sky high.
Am I being unreasonable? If he does numbers 2 and 3 I am sure he will stop tormenting the little ones and that his vile language will improve.
MIL has taken his side and DH has had heated words with her. She states it's all in our head as he is as good as gold at her house. DH told her that he is not like that at home. Even DD1 has told Nan that she's got the wrong end of the stick but it's falling on deaf ears. He can do no wrong in her eyes (wheres the roll eyes smillie when you need it)
The littlies are up now so I'm going to make them some breakfast.0 -

You're not being unreasonable and he hasn't been at your MIL's for long so is probably on his best behaviour - it won't last if he's there for a while. You can always give me a ring if you want to chat. Hugs.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Morning lovelies!
Washing to do today, a quick trip to the shops, roast dinner for tea, tidy and hoover LR, sort kitchen AGAIN, write the Flylady cards, perhaps get into littleys room for some flingin' and tidy the car.
That's my list for today
Mumto5 Not unreasonable at all you stick to your guns chick, kids are always well behaved at granparents houses but like Jue said it wont last much longer, chin up hun x
Off to make brew number 3 and empty the DW *groan* not my fave job.0 -
Morning all
Mumto5 big hugs. How old is your DS? It is your house and therefore your rules apply. When he really gets to a point of wanting to come home he will need to co-operate. Has his behaviour always been difficult, especially re the younger ones, or has it started more recently? Are you sure he is not taking anything? You have our full support, lots of us have had our ups and downs with our teens so we do understand how difficult it can be. MiL is really not helping the situation, does she like him being there?
Dancemum sorry things did not go as planned. Writing a letter sounds like a good plan. Are you happy in general with the consultant, if not could you ask to be referred to somebody else?
Goodintentions poor DH, mine did that in our last house, foot right through right above our head, we do still laugh about it now but it wasn't funny at the time.
Wrist stupidly sore today probably from gardening and ironing so will have to see what I can do today. Must start with some paperwork and sorting the overseas Christmas cards. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone.
I am still on rubble clearing duty as the destruction derby that is my kitchen continues. The rest of the house is full of tools and kitchen stuff so all I can do is hoover the gaps so I have done that.
Mumto5 -makes sense to me. How old is he - I can't remember?
Dusty - ouch on the wrist, hope it settles down soon.
Lamewolf - glad the letter paid off
I have read other things but my head is a shed so hugs to those in need.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
