Really enjoyed being out in the garden but shattered now.

Wash load 1 all dry so I'll add that to the mountain of ironing for tonight and put the second lot on the maiden.

DH doing really well with his list.

Dancemum how did you get on with your appointments yesterday?

A bit long winded so feel free to ignore.

1st appointment: Back to school meeting was ok although it was only about a week since the previous one. Head of school was supportive.

2nd: Paediatrician, we were told to wait in a room, after 30mins of no one coming in a family came in and out popped a doctor straight away so after the child was weighed I explaned our wait. Eventually our paediatrician appeared saying he was running late. Meeting wasn't very productive as I didn't like to say too much in front of DS2 and there was no chaperone to take him out. The Paediatrician kept misunderstanding what I said and then said he would get information from school then write the report for the assessment (possible statement). I don't feel very confident.

I picked DS2 up after he had only been at school part time that day and he was in isolation yet again.

DH is feeling poorly today (manflu),
Asda delivery turned up over hour late with no warning.
I have booked my next 3 shops.
    30 c/cards written.
    Tried to understand pokemon

Mr LW has got the deep fat fryer in pieces in the kitchen, for a good clean. It looks like a war zone in there!:D

Dancemum that all sounds mega frustrating. Could you perhaps write a letter to paediatrician, saying "I didn't want to say this in front of DS2 but here's what I was trying to get across...." kind of thing?:o Just a thought - probably because I'm on a bit of a high because my writing to the rheumy got me a result.:D

Very wet and windy all day did loads of washing as weather forecast was for a dry day! Washing all over house trying to dry.

Had loads planned for the day but fell asleep for 2 hours this afternoon so all behind now.

    Oh well try again tomorrow.

    Hugs to all

Thank you for the idea LW I think I will write as I have a friend who goes to another paediatrician and they have an apportunity to speak without the child so I may suggest this and also tell what I wanted to say. Once I said that Ds was refusing liquid food so I thought we should try something else but in the letter I received afterwards stated I didn't want to buy it anymore as it was too expensive. (it was on prescription).

Kids bathed now getting hyper watching tv

Dinner stuff cleared away. More presents wrapped.
Airing cupboard cleared, ironing mountain restocked.

    Evening

Nice day here and the washing actually dried!

Made a cake, vacuumed round, went to Argos for a couple of things, caught up with stuff on V+ and watched Deathly Hallows Part 1. I've seen 1 & 2 but DH hasn't yet, we'll hopefully get to Part 2 next weekend.

Nearly time for Merlin and then The Killing II.
  • Good evening :D

I received this text from DH this morning while I was at my art club "I keep pinching myself because the kids are cleaning. OUR KIDS?!" :rotfl:
I left them a list before I went out and they cleaned the LR windows, vacuumed & took all their stuff upstairs :T
When I got back I cleared the hotspot in the LR (the table with all my text books & work stuff), and we moved the sofa out to vac up underneath/behind. I emptied the hoover twice & cleaned the filter. Then I went food shopping with DD2.

While we were out DH & DS were left to get the decs out of the loft & walk the dog. Unfortunately, DH tripped while in the loft, and put his foot through the ceiling - again!! He did this earlier in the year, and it is in the same spot. He hasn't gone right through, and I think it was because where it was patched up, it was a bit weak (it did only cost us £20!) DH is really upset, because he has been working so hard to get things done when he is home, and has been working on insulating the summerhouse all day (done about 2/3 now). He doesn't work in a trade, so has to work quite slowly (not a natural DIYer!) He has gone back to work now :(

DS has put up the tree and decorated it, while DD2 is torturing the cat by tieing bits of tinsel to her!

    Morning All

Yes I'm up again at a ridiculous time! Nothing planned for today but I think we're hopefully going to get the decorations put up as we haven't got another day where we're both at home!

Natty - I've got my list thanks - sorry I posted on FB instead of emailing - just lazy me!

Dancemum has the ed psych written to the paediatrician as well?

I'm just having a bit of a sort out of my desk and getting rid of some paperwork while I'm sitting here.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
