Been offered the talktalk essentials broadband £3.25 / month offer but my exchange hasnt been unbundled by talktalk.
Does anyone know if this is now available to all bt customers. Previously I was told Id have to pay an extra £15 / month because I was on a rural exchange!
Good news if its true but get a different answer from talktalk every time I ring.

Very unlikely. Most charge more for rural non llu lines0

Having been in the same situation I can confirm that without LLU on your exchange you will have to pay the extra £15/month. The price of rural living I guess.0

Possibly your exchange is in the process of becoming LLU for TT? Name the exchange and someone can check for you.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi,
To clarify if LLU is not present then a 15 charge will be applicable for BB services via IPstream
However it is possible that, as macman described, the exchange may be due to be unbundled shortly (i.e before the completion date for any order placed) and LLU may become available. During the course of this year TT are unbundling more and more exchanges to increase the reach of LLU services and we are actually ahead of target at the half way point, so this scenario is not improbable.
We would however need to know the exchange the customer is connected to in order to confirm this with more certainty.
Regards
Mark
