    Hi OM

We haven't started overpaying yet but plan to come May/June next year so I guess setting a target is in order. Please put me and the Twids down for £3,500.

Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037
  • Please can I join too? I've been lurking on the MFW board for a while now and it's about time I "came out of the closet"

2012 is looking likely to be a challenging year for us financially so please put me down for an OP target of £1200, if things improve I may well increase that but want to start with something achievable.

Once I've finished reviewing our finances I might even start a diary :D

    thanks

  • Number 2 calling!
I've decided to change my target to £4000 because I've some rough maths and that figure will effectively pay off my mortgage 1 year earlier.
However, I can only raise that money (or should I say, have a hope to) if I use £2000 of the £3000 I'm trying to save in 2012. Would it be cheating?
