    Hi

    toerag33btl - No 145 - OP £1140 for November please Spiggle.

Reaching my limit now for OP but I am shortening my mortgage term from December to 7 years. When I started this journey my mortgage was for 15 years and due to finish on my 70th birthday!

Many, many thanks to all who share here as it gave me the impetus to do this. Tilly's small payments gave me the courage to do the same - they do make a difference! Checking statements against the spreadsheets I was using from here made me aware my annual statement was wrong. I stayed with my complaint and it was redone manually but no apology for their error!

    Thank-you

Another OP and def the last one for this month of £2200. Yay!
  • Hi spiggle,

I got a pm yesterday about my overpayment target. I have had a few changes throughout the year. Namely:

    Splitting from my partner
    Ceasing overpayments
    Looking for my own place.

We did pay £15'200.00 in total in overpayments and it was thanks to this board! The support was excellent and I know I will be back when I get my own mortgage!

    £839 update sent through :j.

    £1,489 to [STRIKE]find[/STRIKE] go .

    Back of fag packet calcs:
    Guaranteed - around 225
    Balance £1,265
    OP from Dec salary = 900 - 2 x 250 reg saver feeds = 400
    Balance £865
    OP from Nov salary + work bonus = 1,600 - 2 x 250 reg saver feeds = 1,100, less holiday to pay for 650 = 550
    Balance £315
Spending to bung on ccard to worry about later £315
    Balance 0
Whew, that will work fine then :rotfl:.

In all seriousness, the balance of £1,489 is a mortgage I took out on late mum's house which I let so I could give DD a deposit for a house. Taken out Sept 10. Because I set up regular savers a few months ago I put back Oct/Nov target but it MUST be paid off this year. Otherwise I amy explode or something .

    Well done everyone :)

    Good afternoon,

Fantastic OP again evi3000, all updated for you. Now are you sure that's the last for November?!?!? :rotfl:

Good to see you Sugarhunny1, I'm so sorry to hear of your changes throughout the year. They will have been completely absorbing I'm sure. £15,200 is a superb amount to have OPd and I have added this to the spreadsheet. I look forward to seeing you back with us once you have found your new home and got the (dreaded) mortgage.

Excellent OP gallygirl now all updated. You have done so well to have this almost clear in just two years and your reason for taking on the mortgage is admirable too. Good luck with finding the last bit.

From the googledoc, thanks pigtails21 for your lovely steady OP updates for May to November now all included on the spreadsheet.

I'll try and pop back later.

    Take care,
    Spigs

well it's Friday and I normally like to try to move cash about on Internet Banking on a Friday but I've been getting bits & pieces for Xmas this week so I'm not going to move any money today but wait until later in the month to see where we are. I have my one to one consultation meeting with work on Monday so hopefully we should be a bit closer towards finding out what is happening on the job front.

Keep up the good work folks.
