  • Thanks Curlygirl and Spiggle. This has all the makings of being a lovely helpful thread. So glad I've found you all.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Mysupermarket "thingy" has the shops near me..Lidl and Mr M (and M&S on a treat day!). When I'm not tired from work, I do quite enjoy wandering and deciding the best deal in my town anyway. I don't have an Apps phone as am too [STRIKE]stingy[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]mean [/STRIKE]frugal :rotfl:

I understand what you mean Curlygirl about choosing who you tell wisely. Luckily(?), over the years, I've honed my friends down to those who really care. It's been a long hard journey, with me constantly gobsmacked and hurt by the actions of others, but my remaining friends are ones I feel I can trust with anything and everything. They are worth their weight in gold. Give your ex friend with the £60k debt, this website address, and you'll have done him/her a very good turn, methinks.

I could easily stay in bed all winter too (oo er missus). Thank goodness for warm duvet, hot water bottles and iplayer, say I.

I had a think today (must stop that as it's becoming a habit :p), and have decided that if I cut down my portion sizes next year (there's certainly room for that!), I'll be saving food money and clothes money (as have a wardrobe full of size 12s). All extra money for the MFW pot I hope.

So now I know what I'm aiming for...just got to achieve it now. Easy! ;)

    Sweet dreams everyone.

Please can I join in? I tailed off to the end of last year after moving house, work forgetting to pay me some money....but I am hoping to start again in the New Year even if it is just small amounts initially.

    Hi

I'd like to join again this year please. I joined MFW 2011 and it really helped.

My target for 2012 is £10,000 - not sure how I will achieve that but it's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!

    Great posts Curlygirly and LavenderBees!!

    Thanks

    Afternoon All,

Ajmoney you're on the list at No.68 but I need a target figure from you please once you've worked it out. Good luck and welcome.

I've added you at No.69 Malski. Great target you have, welcome and good luck.

You're No.70 Tina01904. You are also very welcome and I wish you good luck with your OPs.

You are not a pain in any way icontinuetodream. Your target is now amended to £5k for the year.

I have to say it really helps to spot the target figures when they're in red though I read each post anyway, so don't worry if it's a problem. ;)

    Updated to here.

    See you all later,

    Sorry for another post! :o

I've just been reviewing the 2012 list and have noted a couple of targets not listed.

Financialbliss, squatting at No.29, if you have worked out your 2012 target, would you post it so I can update please?

The same goes for you zutou at No.33. Please post your target for 2012 once you've calculated it.

    Thanks all,
    Spigs
