    Morning all,

I've gone through the spreadsheet and pm'd all that I can find that haven't yet posted an OP this year. Couple of reasons for doing this. Firstly, we have individual targets that count toward the overall total for the year that may not stand a chance of being achieved. Secondly, it's better to do this now at the roughly half way point of the year than later when most of the year has gone. Finally, rather than just adding new challengers to the end of the list we could perhaps use spaces within the current numbers.

Having said all that there are some who joined that I'm having difficulty finding as active forum members whom I'm still scratching my head over!

Thanks shala_moo for the update, great progress made and now all updated on the spreadsheet. I split your total over the months and you're at 61.90%, brilliant!

A very happy Friday to you too cardiffmatch! A great OP again and your OPs for July total an excellent £1,321 and a total so far of £2,221, well done. Hope you thoroughly enjoy the proms.

Ok, that's me for now, see you later.

    Take care,
    Spigs

I know it's a little late in the year but pretty please may I join? This time next week I'll be up to my eyes in packing boxes, dust and antihistamine but as soon as I'm settled I'll bee looking for a lodger to help with overpayments. It's my first home so I'm sure all the bills will be a shock to the system but I'll put a target of £5000 over payments for this year.

Welcome bodmil, I have added you to the spreadsheet and you're No.42 on the list. Good luck with the packing boxes, finding a lodger and managing your outgoings.

    All the best,

    Me again :o

I've just popped home for lunch and found an unexpected and somewhat overdue cheque for £196 expenses I'd long forgotten about (clearly so had payroll)

I ummed and ahhed about maybe leaving this til next month before transferring to the OP account but decided it best to just send it. Especially as I will be walking past John Lewis to get back to the office.

It is looking distinctly possible that I will beat my own target for the year at this rate!

    Hi,
    apologies for not updating:
We will have gone from around £14K outstanding at the beginning of the year to now being at £11,700.
Trying to build savings back up and seemingly being frustrated at the amount of spendings going out.
Once we have some more reserve we will aim to pull this figure down, or at least try to reach equilibrium between savings and outstanding mortgage.

    Lightbulb Dec 2008 £146,000 by March 2026:eek:
    MFi3T2 and T3 No 28 - Dec 2009 Start Balance £117,000
Current Position-Fully off set by savings since March 2013

Thanks RosieTiger, I've spread the £2,300 across the months on the spreadsheet. Hope that is ok with you.

Good luck with building those savings back up.

2nd OP of the month :) Enjoying the moment. Won't be able to make any more double OP's until September or October.

    £200 this time.

    Thanks

    Good morning,

You're making great steady progress ecoelle and are sure to beat your target, well done, all updated for you.

A lovely second OP for the month VoucherMan, all updated for you, excellent.

From the googledoc, NellieB you too are making fab progress towards your target, brilliant, all updated for you.

I'm still awaiting responses from all the pm sent out but the overall percentages are starting, albeit in small fashion, to look a little better. I'm fairly sure (from diaries, etc.) there are more OPs from earlier this year to be logged and so I'll give it a week or so before I start removing the targets from non-responders.

    Take care all,
    Spigs
