I posted on here last month about not receiving paysilp. I started a new job and in October 2011 and was paid for the first time at the end of the month.

I asked for my payslip and was told that they do not give out paysilps and that I could request one. I am still waiting for October payslip and I am due to be pay again next week so I will be waiting for November payslip as well. My employer said to me that I have to accept that I will not be getting a payslip every month.

I have no idea if they took tax and national insurance so I called the tax office today and they me told that my employer has not register me for tax. I was told to request their PAYE Ref and works/staff number if they do not provide it then they will take action against them.

If they cannot give me payslips and very unlikely that they are going to give me the tax information.

I am so stressed over the whole situation.

You mean the Inland Revenue have not got your P45/P46 telling them where you are working now?

PAYE ref - Then request it ASAP and they should be able to tell you in 2 minutes what it is. IF they say we will get back to you it cause they do not have one.

You said they were statements and not payslips in previous posts to you have nothing at all?

I think they they are trying to pull a fast one.

All they have to do is provide you with a payslip of accpet what could happen to them.

The tax office have not been sent my P46 from my employer and paysilp/pay statements are the same thing.

I think that they are not paying tax which is why they do not give paysilps/pay statements.

So ask them for the PAYE ref and if they do not give you it then get back onto HMRC.

Yes but didnt you say before you had requested one and you were told it would be a few weeks? Obviously they were lying!

So do something about it! Ask for the PAYE ref on the next day you are in work and like I say they/payroll should be able to give it to you in a matter of minutes. IF they delay then the next day just call the the Inland Revenue and say they could not give it to you & let them take it from there.
