    Hey Miss Tops,

I'm glad you are back and feeling better, flu is rubbish and I recommend lots of garlic and watching Inspector Montalbano on Iplayer in order to make a complete recovery....

    Hey Muffy,

I hope you are feeling much better this morning :A

Get those statements off and sit back and relax, it's always better to be honest, if you are found to be hiding something it might look worse in the long run. ;)

Enjoy your conference :) and have a great Monday x x

Ha ha. Garlic and Inspector Montalbano are better than anything the Doctor ordered. Thank goodness for LoveFilm unlimited streaming! ;)

Hello Freeby, I agree that honest is best. I think that's where my dilemma came from, in going against what I felt I really should do. xx

Well it seems like it's been ages since I was here with a proper update, and I have to say, I really missed the focus area! But, I'm back to good health and finished with courses, illness and conferences for a while at least so I'm happy to be back to my normal routine!

I did print off all the required bank statements for the business bank account but had forgotten the forms they needed to be sent with so I took them home. When I got there I realised I'd picked up every statement except the bad one, and they had to be sent off that day (as I'd had a reminder email saying all my details would be deleted if not received within 5 days) so I just sent them off without it. I'm not happy to have done that, but it was the better evil over not getting the stuff back on time and having to start the process all over again.

Other than that, it's my last working day before payday on monday and my bank account has remained looking very healthy. There is £129.00 in my account although £110 is earmarked to go on a last energy bill from my previous supplier. I'll phone them this evening to pay. My £10 a day has lasted as well as it should and I've even managed to put a little aside for days I knew I'd need more money. So although I've had some NSD's this month, I've not really counted them as they were more "saver days".

Tomorrow I'm due to meet my friend in London. This is the one who likes to tell me I have no money (we met in London and went to Harrods previously). But we're meeting in a pub in town and I've suggested we avoid the shops so I'm hoping that her being a bit drunk will be less offensive than her judging my spending habits. She's got a new boyfriend so I think the subject of him will be a lovely distraction from any silliness. I hope so anyway.

So in a nutshell that's all that's been going on with me Being ill and in conferences etc has been a massive distraction from normal life. As of today it's back to reality. I hope everyone is doing great and I'll catch up on diaries as soon as I can. I miss the updates. xx

My weekend has been quite busy but a nice one. I met my friend in London, the one who tends to speak to me like I have no money, but she was in great form and wanting to talk about her new relationship so the focus was mostly off me. We had a nice catch up, and even though she got through a lot of wine she remained upbeat. I'm wondering if alcohol brings out her frustrations but as she's currently happy there were none to bring out? Whatever it was, it made for a nice day out which lasted quite a few more hours than usual.

Today I took my Mum out to lunch as I've hardly seen her the last few weeks what with various things going on. Because the weather was so bad we didn't stay out for more than a few hours, but it was nice to take her out and have some time with her today.

This week is back to being fairly uneventful. I get paid in the morning and then will need to have a look at my spreadsheet and start shooting payments off again! I received my credit card bill yesterday for £0.00 balance so I'm guessing I need to write to them and close the account. I'll do that tomorrow to get that completely done and dusted.

I have lunch with A tomorrow. That's been going along quite smoothly which is nice. I've not been around much but we've spoken most days and we had breakfast last Thursday for my first day back in the office after a few weeks out.

Other than that, nothing much going on. I may have to work on that....:D

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. xx

Well, pay day is here and I had a sufficient buffer in my account to know that all was going to be well.

I've not had a chance to go through my online bills, but I know what needs to be paid where, and my spreadsheet is up to date, so am happy that my finances are still feeling organised.

I did buy breakfast at work this morning, but have been taken out to lunch today, so no money spent there. Tonight I do need to get some toiletries from Boots and do a fair bit of shopping as I've got hardly anything in, but I have done a price comparison to find out who has the better prices.

I also have some things I need to put on ebay tonight. I need to focus on that this evening again as I have nothing up for sale on there this week. I do like benig able to check my app and see how many watchers and bids on an item I'm selling.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great Monday and enjoying the improvement in weather. It's so nice to see blue skies today!
