Good morning everyone,
Was doing so well up untill Sat, when I splurged on a take away and then yesterday a few bits in bobs in the shops, still came in under budget though with £19.45/£24 so i'm happy with that!
This week i'm gonna pledge £51.50 that I have in my purse. Its payday on Wednesday but hoping to not spend anything apart from the normal DD's. This week might prove hard, I have a night out on Fri that will require drinks and a taxi back and i'm round to a friends on Sat, but that should only be a bottle of cheap wine.
Oh, just remembered i'm getting my eyebrows done on Thursday which is £10, fingers crossed I can keep within my limit!
Happy Monday everyone!

Good morning everyone!
Popping in to report that I was green last week with a spend of £104.05 out of my pledged £150! :j
This week I'm going to pledge an even bigger £420! As I have a couple of 2012 annual membership fees to pay.
LC - I hope the work situation improves for you soon (((hugs)))

Hi all
pp I've seen varying reviews so I'm really curious to see it!!
Laisbojar I'm on O2 but either way Tue was the only day we could go this week, we're getting the early showing at £5.95 each which is still extortionate but slightly more reasonable than the £7 odd in the evenings!
chris81418 thanks...things aren't going to get better unfortunately, unless I do something about them. As for that, I'm not in the right frame of mind at the moment so it's a vicious circle. Just between me and you guys I got diagnosedd with "severe depression" a couple of months ago and got put on anti-depressants. A lot of it is stress and work related although there are a couple of things out of work. It's definitely the main factor though. When I went to the docs the other Friday they doubled my dose. Luckily I get free prescriptions as I have an under active thyroid! And the counsellor I've been referred to is ringing me tomorrow for my phone assessment. To be honest, I don't really know what to do with myself. But hey ho, maybe I'll feel better soon.
Sun 27 Nov: £6.80 and £3.50 cigs, £9 drinks, £2.95 soup - TOTAL: £22.25

Hi,
Well popped to the Post Office (had a freepost parcel to send off) and shops with my 3 year old daughter and was surprised at how I managed to resist temptation with this challenge firmly in the back of my mind.
:T
Anyway, we did have lunch out which was £10.40 and I bought her a very small toy for £2. So current spend £12.40, but I still have to pay my £10 deposit this week for works xmas lunch, so will have to be good for the rest of the week!AFD 0/310 -

Morning Fellow Savers,
I hope you all had a great Monday.
Yesterday was a SD, unfortunately. I could not find my monthly bus pass  so I had to buy a day ticket which cost me £3.90 (double ).
Then, I spent £1.95 on a bottle of juice and a snickers bar (triple ).
On the plus side, I returned some stuff and got £15.00 refund:j, I am not including it in my budget tho. Better save the 15 squiddies for next week :rotfl:.
Today should be a NSD, fingers crossed.
LC, have a great time with your mum later x
Have a lovely tuesday everyone x

So let's see where we're at:
Sunday NSD
Monday £1.10 on an emergency bag of chicken corn as had run out and they were giving me evils through the back door (plus apparently the veg peelings that I cooked and lovingly mashed up for them weren't good enough  ) + 2 pairs of fleece lined tights from M &* using a 10% off code and qu*dco £17.10
Both of these have there own budgets, however am going to start adding them as they are still sort of 'random' spends and thus need to be planned for in advance rather than spur of the moment. The things I'm not going to add for the purpose of this challenge are DD's and big grocery shops including the monthly bulk pet food purchase ~ everything else is fair game
Sooooo after that lengthy preamble I reckon I'm on £18.20/£40
