Getting out of tmobile 12 month contract sim only

Hello,
We have a 12 month sim only contract with T-Mobile and it seems as though they've switched off a mast near my house because of the orange merger. Now I don't get any signal at home. Can I get out of my contract because of this?

Possibly... What have they said about it so far?:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I get redirected to some other team and just get hung up. But the support women said its not their problem? I don't see how they can just shut down a mast and say "tough" pretty much.0

What area are you in? You cannot be the only one using that site, and are probably not the only poster from the area, your handset should be able to use the orange service too, it is mightily unlikey that there is not coverage for either network.0 -
Suburbs of Norwich. It seems I'm bang in the middle of a blackspot since they turned it off. I go 25 metres up the road and I get 2 bars on Orange and I go about 10 metres down the road and I get a bar on T-Mobile.0

I still can't believe them. This is like BT saying we don't want to offer you your phone line anymore but we're still going to charge you.0

Very, very common - they've just short-stopped a legal action with base station supplier Arquviva (Sp?) due to them shutting down sites as part of the merger. It remains a truism, there will be those who will lose coverage and unless they plan to provide an infill, you can cite ongoing service disruption and ask that you be released from the minimum term due to the changes. (You cannot demand it, but a request is not normally refused if their coverage data shows you are suffering).0
