Mazuma and the like

I have a phone that unfortunately isn't work. I get the message mobile network unavailable when I try to call.

As every else is working, what would mazuma or whoever give for it. It's a galaxy s, and working they offer £130?

It's not working so you get the not working rate, usually half so £65

Have you tried other networks sim cards to check its not the card at fault and you are sure the account is in good standing ie the network has not limited your ability to make calls. Even if your account is in good standing it's worth checking it's not been banned by mistake.

May also be worth checking if it's in warranty and could be repaired under that assuming the damage is not user created.

It would alkso be worth trying a factory reset if not already carried out .

  • Hello,

It would be worth trying, as stated above, to do a factory reset on the phone, that would have a chance of making the phone work again, making you get the full amount Mazuma are giving out. Mazuma tend to half the price they offer for a broken phone, and they expect the phone to be in some sort of working order, as in not cracked screens and shattered cases. In its current state, you should be able to get the broken price for the phone. But as people have said... try a factory reset.

    Hope this helps :)

Or take it to one of the guys on the market and see if they can help. Usually they won't charge if they can't get a result.
