Other people who post similar threads to mine are not being given grief like this!!

I think these people should hang their heads in shame at their snide comments; other people on this forum who have asked similar questions to me dont get abuse like me and its disgusting!!

I think the people who try to find technicalites to get out of what they rightfully owe should hang their heads in shame.

I continued to repay my creditors every spare penny I had even during and after Bankruptcy...

    Go figure.

Most intend to honour their credit commitmeents. They don't like subsidising wasters who try to wriggle out of theirs.

Yes they are. But you have the added disadvantage of starting multiple threads on the same subject. Not to mention totally ignoring what you're being told.

If you want sympathy and support try the Debt-free Wannabe section.

They won't get the debt written off for you though.

these lot are bending the truth, they can do nothing with a tick box. refuse to pay, help all other companys not want to deal with you
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

People are not nasty but might be getting a little bored with the constant queries how to get out of paying back a debt.

As I posted for you before, the electonic signature, i.e. you ticked the box that you accept their terms and condition at time of application is for a card opened in 2009 more than enough. MBNA have complied with your CCA request. The office of fair trading would not advise differently.

I mentioned this before, if you are in financial difficulties, contact one of the debt charity for advise and support in dealing with this. As MBNA now provided the CCA, it would be enforcable and unless you take your head out of the sand and start dealing with the debts, there is a fair chance you end up with a CCJ.

I found MBNA easy to deal with. I had my LBM and by making arrangements and frugal living I have paid back near enough £30K in 2 years. IN another 16 months I will be debt free, not by trying to find loop holes but by working with my creditors towards a solution.

Contact a debt charity and start dealing with your debts.;)

OK - a one word non abusive answer to your original question - yes it's legal

Those who tell you it's not are either malicious, out of date, mistaken or answering a different question
