Tell your nan she put it away a long time ago so this is your 'future'.

Further, it was to help you out and relying on an unreliable income and JSA is a time when you need help if you can get it. :)

You are going to have to repay some money but you do at least have te money, so once you know the amount, you can get it over with straight away.

Youve done wrong and you can put it right - simples!

    All this ruminating is pointless.
  • i cant help it.

I feel terrible for doing this so wrong, I may have problems, but I always try to do everything right, and thought that despite everything I was essentially a good person. THis makes me feel like utter dirt, just the fact that i got it all so wrong and as a result did something so wrong. I feel bad enough even without all the possible repocussions.
The money is worthless. it always was really, as I never got to doing anything with it other than an odd house repair. thats the problem with saving, you keep doing it and it just sits there, and in my case becomes a big problem. Now its all got to go, and I'm in troble for it. And i'll be penniless as well.
I only earn £118 a week before tax at the moment, i really could do with having something to fall back on, as that's onnly £41 a week after I've paid off all the bills, bus fares etc.
I dont know what I can do for the future. Applying for endless new jobs has got me nowhere so far.

VSP - As someone saaid earlier, you would be better not posting on this thread until you have sorted out your situation, I fear you could be making yourself very vulnerable for some of the not very kind posters. Come back and tell us the outcome when you are ready.

VSP - Please take this issue off-line. You need to take the advice here and get face to face to help with people who can help you. The purpose of the board is to give advice on benefits, not make people feel better. So log off and don't come back until you are in a better place.

To all who have made assumptions about what will and won't happen to VSP - shame on you. You don't know what will happen to the OP as part of this issue. Giving false hope is worth than giving honest and frank advice.

How about no longer being masochistic?
    How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?

Excellent post bestpud, and I agree that the situation can be resolved with little fuss.
