Take my advice and DONT listen to any more posts D70 makes.
It seems to me they like twisting the knife when people are down.
Dont do anything drastic and as long as you are as honest as you can be with the DWP the worst that is likely to happen is you have to repay the money.
D70 you should be ashamed of yourself.0

i have no problem paying this all back, not that I know how much I owe.
My head is spinning and reeling. I'm in all honesty worried about my grandmother more than anything, if something happened to me, and I got put in prison. Shes very frail now, and has deterioated a lot over the last few months, and relies on me. If I'm not there to help her, it could be disaterous for her, and the shock could be fatal. I also have a fantastic dog who's in need of an operation in a few eeks, and i'm worried sick about her.
I would have done all this right in the first place if I'd have known. I make mistakes all the tme, I know that, sadly it comes with my conditions, and I have big problmes dealing with forms and numbers and money, amongst other things. The combinatio of my illnesses and dyslexia make these things a nightmere. Applying for every job is terrible, becuase of the forms (The Tesco one with it's nasty multiple choice section was especially nerve-wracking), and I dont do well at them. still i am working at the moment, albeit on a barely-scrape through minimum wage awful job, but I'm glad to have it.
generally peple seem to thnk i should be alright. I didn't intentionally do anything wrong.
But i do acknowedge just how severe my mental problems are now, and that I've really got to find a way to do something about them. They got me into this mess in all realitly. If i didn't just stick my bank statements strraight in the drawer (still in the envelopes) and ignore them, or just put the investment savings accout book away and ignore it, and so on, the penny would have certainly dropped that i was getting something wrong.
i do have another freid with problems like mine, and he got his gas cut off becuase he couldnt deal with bills. he got it soerted out, but I know i'm not the only one with this type of problem.
I jus dont really know how to get it all sorted, and having both this and the custmoer compliance at the same time is horribly unbearable.0

You wont go to prison so get that idea out of your head and stop worrying.
If you have just made a genuine mistake in not disclosing the ISA and as you say have not touched it i suspect they will just ask for the money back that you were overpaid.
Its really not as bad as you think.
At least you HAVE the money to repay and once its repaid that will be the end of it.

how recently was the money taken out?
I would have thought the best course of action will be honesty.
As you have mental health problems they will take this into account.
Make an appointment with Citizens Advice and get them to help you.
If you know of any mental health charities in your area give them a call to see if they can help with advice too.
You cant do anything till MOnday so just chil out a bit and try to enjoy whats left of your weekend.0

            i dont know. probably not0

So my earlier advice to contact CAB or mental health charities still stands.
You need face to face help.
Wait till monday and make an appointment.0

what would i need to say to them? I'm still totally lost, it seems to be getting worse again. what do the recipets count for?
I'm sorry, this is how bad my memory is, I did go to CAB on thursday. a pretty miserable time with a long wiat to see an advisor who essentially only told me that the Customer COmpliance and Fraud team were the same thing, something I understand from online is ont true.0
