Speaking of slankets, I was thinking of getting a cheapy fleece and sewing in some armholes. I don't know how I would do it but there's bound to be help online somewhere. Maybe I should just buy one. Oh toasty while I sit and crochet.
I have crochet'd the back panel for my 'winter house coat'. Get your sunglasses ready as it's hideous. I'd never use those bright colours I'd acquired so...0 -

Fuddle, can't wait to see it :rotfl:.You never know, you might be grateful for those bright colours in the winter to cheer you up! Mind you, it's so cold and rainy at the moment it might as well be winter. I was adding it up and we have only had about a fortnight's "T-shirt weather" in the last eight months . That is pathetic. And today has been ridiculous. It has rained non-stop all day and my waterbutts have collected over 100 litres of water - probably closer to 150 litres actually. You'd have thought the Queen could have ordered some decent weather for her jubilee weekend! I feel so sorry for all those people who have had to cancel their street parties. The weather is supposed to be better tomorrow so maybe they can have them then.
Ginnyknit, lucky you no longer needing the 'female products' aisle! It's ten days since I finished my last period and I already have PMT again . If you hear an explosion, it'll be my boobs :eek::rotfl:.
Greyqueen respect to you for going to the lottie in this weather! I fear I may need a snorkel and flippers on my next visit to mine!
Hope everyone is having a relaxing evening xx.
ETA Cross-posted with Fuddle's photo. It's not that bright ......Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Not rained here for once, just stayed at 10C but we got some sun. Fuddle there's nothing wrong with bright colours to give you a tropical feel on a grey day - its lovely, very neat. Watching the TT and it's brought a smile to my face LOL first one today. Wish I could go!0

Fuddle, this is the one I got but I was lucky, it was £6 including P&P.

Even Ladies ( and any lurking gents
)
Well just finished second of three nights trading at our local camping site, and phew I am knac&ered!!!. We sold out of both fish and chips last night, and all our fish tonight, despite the site owner thinking we would be quite. We have had some great feedback, everyone seems to enjoy our food. Weather was pretty grim today, so surprised people could be bothered to leave their cozy tents :rotfl: - the wind is getting up so not sure how long they will remain so!
I must say that the site is very clean and tidy, the loos/shower block is amazing - better than our bathroom :rotfl: If anyone wants a good small friendly camp site in West Wales pm me!
Well we missed the fledging of baby G tits - while we were busy they bu88ered off!!! Never saw one of the little blighters!
Byatt - hope you had a nice day today.
Smiley - I know only too well that feeling - don't fall into the same trap as me, get the to the docs if your ladybits start interfeering with your life - I put up with too much for too long. It was only after collapsing at work and being carted off to hospital did anything get resolved, and when I look back no I can't believe what I put up with!
Kidcat - how does that teacher stay in their job? Honestly, it beggars belief!
Hugs for all that need them, especially those with a serious sweetie deficiency (did the son ever shut up??? :rotfl:)Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -

Shove a few sugar shrimps in his gob Mar, that'll shut him up for a bit at least! Thanks for the thoughts - my legs are not going so well, they ache like fury! Terrible southern softies, not made for hard work lolThink big thoughts but relish small pleasures0

Well done Mrs Chip, so glad the business is doing a roaring trade, have been secretly crossing my fingers for you. I agree with you Smileyt needs a check up - at least to make sure she doesnt have exploding boobies cos I will get the fallout we only live a few miles apart, Its nice having an MSE buddy so close except when they are tiny with bundles of dynamite on their chest :rotfl: Hey I am 53 this year so I should have finally waved bye bye to the bloomin periods! a 9 year menopause is no joke, I told GP I wanted no more at 50 and she laughed.
You are very popular with your offspring Mar, are you feeding them when they come - stop immediately or you wont get rid, thats where I went wrong with DSI love him really but he went to a festival yesterday and is a grump today.

Good morning.
A day in the house for us today. The jobs consist of:
wallpaper stripping/possibly new wallpaper on
tidying out the cupboard
a cake of some description (haven't decided yet)
more crochet
washing and ironing
general slow tidy
erg, that's too much for a bank holiday.
What are your plans girls? Anything OS today?0
