My daugher order a pair of ugg boots from ASOS when she tracked her order and they had apparently been delivered at the address and signed for. We checked the proof of delivery with parcel force and the signature was as follows 45626058 instead of a signature. We have not received the boots and we have asked all our neighbours whether they had accepted a parcel for my daughter with no joy. There was no delivery card posted as to where the boots had been delivered. I have rang parcel force and they said i need to take the matter up with ASOS but as far as ASOS are concerned the boots were delivered, as they were signed for. My daughter paid £125 for the boots and no-one seems to want to accept liability what is my situation in this matter £125 is a lot of money to lose and i cannot understand how a delivery person would leave a parcel with no apparent signature. Would you say I need to inform the police as it seems suspious to me. Any help in this matter would be grateful

The police will not be interested, it is what they would class as a civil matter.
You have not received the goods, inform ASOS as such in writing - include a printout of the 'signature' and if they do not assist you better, then either do a chargeback on your credit card if you paid that way or take them to small claims court.0 -
All Asos parcels sent via Parcelforce are 'No Signature Required'. The number 45626058 is Asos' serial number that is entered into the signature device by the driver, in place of the recipients name. Where the recipient would normally sign, the driver should write 'NSR' (no signature required), and then they should leave a card at the recipients address stating which 'safe place' they have left the parcel. A safe place should be out of sight and under cover.
Right, that's the technical stuff done. The main point is that your contact should be with Asos, as you have a contract with them for supply of the goods. The 'NSR' contract that Asos have with Parcelforce does not relieve Asos of their obligation to supply you with the goods that you have paid for. You should speak to Asos again and remind them that they need to prove that you have received your goods. The fact that they use a delivery method that does not require a signature (to save money, its a cheaper contract) is their problem!0 -
OP have you checked your wheely bins. Parcel farce have a habit of placing item in wheelbins if no one in.0
