that's a good payout. Looks like they have included the APR too and a bit. Well done
Refund of premiums = £4971.78
Refund of interest = £ 1107.14
interest at 8% calculated up intil 20 December = £3262.50
Total =£9341.42:j

Do we only pay tax on 8%?0 -

It's a lot more than I calculated for you, that 8% interest figure is very high, can't figure out how they got that but who cares
:j:j:beer:
Yes you only inform HMRC of the 8% interest figure.
Great result placida :TSuccesses

Thanks everyone.
I can't quite believe how rubbish their systems are when dealung with large volume processes, they must be in a terrible mess.
To deal with people in a random order is just so inefficient and unprofessional.
Maybe the lady i spoke to this week has taken pity on us *trembling lower lip*
Probably not.0 -

Probably not.
I'm waiting too!!
First made my claim on June 2nd. Heard in Aug that it was upheld and sent return letter straight away. Still waiting.
I have phoned a few times, always told the same thing, its with the payment dept!
I was hoping it would be here before Christmas but I've given up on that now.
I've got time off so I'm going to chase them after Christmas. I need to find out who to write to as ringing the contact number does next to nothing.0 -

Good news for my Sainsbury/Bank of Scotland PPI claim. The cHeques came this week!
I claimed for one loan I had, had decided that if/when I got the PPI for this I would claim for a smaller loan I had had before this, but they gave me the money for both!!!!!
Have been waiting ages for this. Annoyingly, They sent the cheques at the end of November, but to my OLD address, despite the fact all correspondence had been to my new address, including a statement for my loan, all letters about my PPI claim AND that when the ask me security questions on the phone I have to quote the first line of my....(new) address!
Anyway, I'm s glad it's all over. All I've got to do is try to save the money, not spend it. HURRAH.0
