Found out my credit limit for virgin was £4500 so going to pay off my carloan with this and also pay some of my personal loan off as well as my overdraft. Haven't got the money yet from virgin. They said it might take up to 6 days.
Didn't spend a penny yesterday (had my ww class for free as I'm a helper). Today have brought in my lunch but have netball tonight £3.50 which I don't mind paying as I get to see my friends. Am going to do a new sig soon which includes my overdraft which I stupidly didn't count till recently. I'm looking fwd to starting with a balance in my account each month when I get paid as it helps me more with my budget.
Have been doing pigsback every day too and have now got £10.75 which I'm going to put towards Xmas presents. My boyfriend has a big family so they've come up with the idea that you only spend £10 max on each other. There are however 10 of them which doesn't make it easy for me as I've my own family and my b/friend to buy for. My boyfriend says he doesn't want much this year but I'm determined to buy him something nice as he has helped me out so much this year and has been really supportive about my moneysaving. I'm going to save up for whatever I get him though as it would be stupid to get into debt for it.
Is anyone else worrying about Xmas already? i thought it was meant to be such a happy timeJan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -
Yes it can be stressful. My lot (kids and GC) all prefer money instead of presents so I can't cut the cost like I could if I was buying for them.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Was going to buy shampoo and hair conditioner today but on clearing out I found loads of half used stuff of my parents who told me to go ahead and finish them. My bathroom shelves are now packed with half used conditioner, little bootles of shampoo and have a whole load more bath stuff. Least that'll save me a few £'s.
Going to check today if I've got my money through again. Hopefully I have. Am thinking of changing my bank account. Am getting really annoyed with RBS. They say they'll phone me back with answers to my questions and they never do.Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -
Have recieved my money from Virgin interest free for 15 months and have now paid off my car loan, £2000 of my personal loan and my over draft. Have left myself £90 in my bank for petrol for next week and to buy varnish for my flat as its the B and Q discount weekend my dad says.
Told my parents what I was doing and they weren't impressed about using the credit card for balance transfers. I am on top of it though and I know I won't run up any more debt.
Not doing much this weekend. I don't have much money as don't get paid until Tuesday. Am really looking fwd to composing my new sig on Tuesday.Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -

I've claimed my travel expenses today... £104 aprox. Going to put it towards my Xmas savings I think and also add it to my sig.
Am really swithering now whether to put money aside to pay off my bed. Really I could get an interest free credit card and put my bed on that next year and concentrate on my personal loan. Still deciding...
A NSD today. Have WW tonight (free as I'm helping out) Get paid tomorrow so fresh start with £0 in the bank. Have my Virgin Balance transfer fees to pay this month. I could keep my travel expenses for that? Am still deciding.
Got my buildings and contents insurance coming up in December to pay. Going to try to def take my time to get the best deal. Might start looking about just now. Going to try using Quidco for that and for my Xmas pressies.
Haven't got two much on socially this week. Have a dinner/cinema night with my friend on Sat which should cost about £10 but have budgeted for that and meeting another friend for coffee on Thursday. Otherwise I don't intend to spend much.
Hope everyone else is doing well.Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -

Have transfered another £350 over from my virgin credit card to me bank account. Going to use that to make payment to my loan as its 0% on the credit card at the moment. It will take 5-7 days to come into my account but as soon as its in its going straight to pay my debt.
Still waiting to get a bill from virgin. Will put my travel expenses in my ISA until I get my bill.
Am en route to going to close my car loan account at the moment. Apparently they still have to take the payment for this month but I get it back.Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -
Was really bad this weekend. Accidently took out £100 instead of £20 at the cashline on Friday nite. Only spent £20 on my night out then spent £80 in Ikea   How could I spend so much money on a store which is meant to be so cheap. Anyway it was all totally my fault. I'm just going to have to be very frugal for the rest of the month. Have a long weekend coming up so won't be able to go on any nights out. Maybe the cinema with my pass. I'm really annoyed I got carried awayJan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0
