Prudent wrote:I have this laptop and am using it just now. It is a good price. I paid £320 for mine last July from ccl computers. It has worked fine within its capabilities. The downside is its very slow. For example if I try and bring word up when online it takes at least 2 minutes. I find this frustarting as I often just want to do a copy and paste of my address into a competition entry email. It hasn'y had the capacity for some of the freebies that come on disc with the computer mags. However if you just want a basic laptop its fine, and quite stylish.
Did you upgrade the ram? If not, you'll find it will make a world of difference. Also, with some laptops, it's better to wipe off all the preinstalled crap that comes with them and do a fresh install of the OS.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Its a dual core 1.73ghz. And by my reckoning the £249 should easily retail for £500. Consider the amount of people who will order one thinking they'll make a ton on eBay and Littlewoods have 3 weeks to realise they're gettting done we've no chance.0 -
