I'm pleased eBay is doing free listing weekends more often now, but the crazy postage rules are putting me off a bit. I've started saying it'll take a few days and then sending by second class.

The terms and conditions are worth a read to make sure you are getting free listings before you list.

i checked the terms n conditions ..just trying to be sure

when i go back to edit the auctions to start over the weekend will i get some kind of indication it is now free , incase ive loused it up

im planning to list several items that i wouldnt if i had to pay

Free Listing days are excellent for me because I have loads of car parts.
I can list 80 items on a free listing day and only 5 will end up selling. I will relist the unsolds at the next Free Listing Day and another 5 will sell, and so on. If I had to pay listing fees I just wouldn't be able to do it because I'd make a loss.

Probably a few until people get their registration sorted out.

I know on the community boards there is a sense of weariness setting in- did you see the long thread (before it got pulled) a few months back where a seller who really was a business was absolutely insistent she couldn't possibly be a business as she was just a stay at home mum. I think that wound a few people up especially as the point of her thread originally was to moan that ebay limited her free listings to 100 a time and she had lots of stock to shift to make a living.
