  • I'm not too fussed about this now I can't get any Amazon vouchers, and logging in just for three ads isn't worth it.
  • I don't understand it I logged in and got a few ads and they were all just 1 point some with a link for 1 point but a friend who only signed up last week had several 4 points +5 for question ones and came away with 140 points in a few min!
  • I've e-mailed nectar to ask about this 1pt per 20-30 min advert, works out to (0.5p) have not had a response yet, seems a little tight, and is not worth me watching the adds now,

My advice to people is don't watch them, it ain't worth your time, 0.5p per 30 seconds, approx,

I will not be - lets have a little protest, and lets have a 2 - 3 days of silence on adpoints, this is the only way to show them, we ain't as daft as they think we are,

They get us hooked and now they pull the rug, well we will see nectar! how long will it last, at 1pt per 30 seconds, how much is nectar get per viewing, 5p - 10p etc... who knows, but they are seriously earning and we get scraps, thanks, that sounds so sweet, nectar :T
  • Amazing. All these complaints and angry faces because you cant get something for free!

I'm sure the Adpoints business model isn't to give away as many free points as possible to people who really don't care about what they are watching or have any interest in the brands advertising...

Perhaps if some of you followed the links to the brand sites and actually purchased something now and then, it would generate more revenue for the advertisers to give to Adpoints for new adverts, to allow them to increase the number of points being offered on the adverts!!!

Its simple economics. Its common sense that they don't have a huge pot of free Nectar points to give away without generating some revenue somehow. If you guys are just taking the free points and not clicking through and showing the brands who are advertising on adpoints that they are getting increased web sales... those brands will stop buying Adpoints adverts and there will be fewer and fewer "free" points available until it stops altogether. No more FREE points at all! MAD FACE OVERLOAD.

By definition, this should be about money SAVING, not Nectar points generating. If you can SAVE money by buying a product online at a reduced price through an offer advertised on Adpoints, there's the money SAVING! Its a bonus that you can earn Nectar points too!

    Email now received

    Dear Nectar Adpoints Member,

    Thank you for your email.

The number of points you can collect for viewing may vary from Ad to Ad, or indeed vary on the same Ad depending on how many times you have viewed it. The number of points you can collect for different activities (ie answering questions or clicking-through to the advertisers site) may also vary from Ad to Ad.

    Best regards,

    Adpoints Customer Support

No really telling me what i asked, its a total waste of time, they just have they just send pre-written answers,

The worst thing is they are STILL recruiting for Adpoints - there was a link in my Nectar email yesterday. I had one ad available yesterday for points - a two minute 30 second one for 2 points, needless to say I did not bother. I don't mind so much only getting 50-100 points some weeks but they should not be trying to take on more panellists when they have no ads for those of us who joined right at the beginning :(
