How often do you go out socialising when in debt?

I guess it all depends on how soon you want to be debt free. Personally, my debt will be gone by Christmas next year so I feel I can afford go out with people from work about once a week, albeit to cheaper places than we used to go. I don't have an OH at the moment, and share a flat so can't have people over all the time, and this one night a week is pretty much my only socialising. If my debt was higher, or going to last longer then I might feel differently.

Makes me laugh this, the majority of the thread is covered, by we or we're... I'd love to have an other half whilst in debt, must make things that little bit simpler. Being single if I didn't go out I'd be boxed in by four walls, it would drive me over a bridge for sure. I'm paying off one loan but nothing else as the rest of my money goes on alcohol and socialising. Once my loan is paid off next December, I'll pay off another debt, and so forth until my wage increases. At least no new debt is being incurred.
