Cheap car torch needed ? where from ?

    Might light up the sky . but wonder how long it would last ? Come back in another two years and report.
    A wind up torch MUST always beat batteries in the very long run, and emergency torches must be for the long term.


    ps have a LED Maglite , great torch , but it stays in the house.

    Well it spent 4 whole evenings up in my loft helping me replace all the earth wiring the previous owner saw fit to remove from the lights..... And I'm still on the original batteries.

    Apparently the 2D LED is good for upto 60 hours on decent alkaline batteries. It also makes a decent road rage deterrent ;)

    But as I said, I think the 60 LED rechargeable work lamp is more practical, because it can be charged from the car battery.
