Going from a pay monthly sim only to a full contract.

Hey

I'm on a 30 day sim only contract at the moment, paying £25. I've been on this deal for around 3 years.

I want to take out a 24 month contract on an iPhone 4s which is £31 a month and £170 up front for the phone. Do you think there is any way I can get some sort of discount, like an upgrade sort of?

Discounts on 4s are unlikely, but you can try requesting PAC and see what they offer you.

As a side note, I think you will not get plenty of minutes for £31. Were you not wasting money on paying £25 for 3 years?
For this sort of money you could have been getting 2000 minutes at '3', 1500 minutes at giffgaff or 1200 minutes for £20 at talkmobile/chitter-chatter.

And shop around unless you are determined to stay with Orange.

I don't use many minutes so I'm happy with 100

Why were you paying £25 for 3 years then? 100 minutes cost no more than £6.
