Wowcher/Infurn Beanbag Offer PROBLEMS!

  • Mine has just been delivered!! It was delivered by Fed Ex....

    No paperwork with it, concerned if the filling meets Uk safety requirements, if i can't get any confirmation of this i will have to return it. Some of the filling are black and it shows through the bag making it look dirty. Oh i got a green one.

    I too have ordered via Groupon in November, same as everyone else regarding delivery change of dates.
    I have had no response to various emails or calls to Infurn apart from generic generated replies. Groupon say they are escalating the complaint to a Manager, but I never hear back.
    Today I telephoned DHL giving my tracking number. (This is found if you log into Infurn under My Account). They categorically state that INFURN DOES NOT DEAL WITH DHL and the numbers they are quoting ARE NOT DHL shipping numbers. [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]

    I have been advised to write to GROUPON and INFURN requesting a refund within 14 days as they are in Breach of Contract to supply goods.
    I will never use Groupon again.:mad:

    Mine arrived the other day, it was supposed to be DHL but it was actually fed ex so try the tracking number on their site instead. Mines turned up so yours should too.
  • I too am having the same problem ordered mine 3rd November due week 49 this changed to week 2 after I emailed to complain as the 2 bean bags were Christmas presents still no bean bag! I now believe I will never see the bean bag. No response from infurn after a number of emails. Groupon however have responded but told me would be here last week. Stil nothing since emailed and told mid february or offered refund no apology though! Think after reading these posts I will accept the refund as it's doubtful the beanbag will ever arrive. I have written to watch dog but not heard anything, maybe if others email with same problem they will act on it and investigate then we may all get dome compensation. Has anyone actually received their bean bag?! Wonder if they even Exsist!

    They do exist, like i posted earlier they were delivered by Fed Ex, just keep pestering Groupon, if they don't reply put something on Groupons facebook page, you'll get a quick response then.

    yes it's fed ex not dhl try putting the delivery number in and see, mine's here so yours will be on it's way I bet!
  • I ordered one of these beanbags through Groupon/Infurn and after waiting patently & seeing that it would be delivered by week 3, I carried in waiting. I checked again today & it has now been put as delivery date week 50 :mad:.

    I have used the contact page on Infurn to state that after reading reviews I'm now assuming that the bean bag is never going to arrive, so I'm requesting a full refund of wht I paid or it & for the £15.99 delivery costs too.

    I doubt that I will get a reply, so I'm wondering hat I should do next?
  • I made an order last October and have made many attempts to contact them since December without success. However yesterday I received the following response from them implying they are sorting out the problem and they should be able to fulfil their commitments by mid March. Fingers crossed they mean it!

    We have optimized production and are now manufacturing Big Boys 24 hours a day. This means we have added new machinery to make the Big Boys and are running three 8 hour shifts a day. We have also added new shipping partners to ensure we can get as many Big Boys as we make delivered in the quickest time possible.

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, but we can assure you that every request will be honoured and all orders fulfilled by the middle of March

  • I'm having the same problems as everyone else it seems, I ordered 2 beanbags on the 7th November and was told they'd be here before Christmas [lies] I then received 1 on the 14th February and I'm still waiting on the other 1 to show up but I don't think it will ever appear again I have a long DHL number that it fake.:mad:
