new mobile, mic not working

nokia 5500 sport, just over a month old, was working perfect this morning, now no one can hear me talk, tested it by doing voice recorder, plays back completley blank.

any ideas?

also what are my options? does it go to the retailer or to the manufacturer?

retailers usually give 14/28 day exchange or you can go through manufacturers warrenty 12m

are you sure dust isnt clogging up the mic?

just blow into the mic and see if that helps

(my mate had the same problem with his k500i, and i could only just hear him when he was shouting down the line!:rotfl:)
