Can I use BT wireless router with another ISP?

Currently got BT wirelss, can I use the same router if I change to another ISP?

It depends! If your router was supplied by BT, it is likely that it is locked so that it will only work with BT as your ISP. However BT routers are sold in various stores and these will work with all ISP's.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
It depends which one you have been given,
You can always Flash the router but need to know what your doing.
Most of the ones supplied with the packages from bt will be locked and only allow you to use a specific username>
Although the 2wire models that are supplied for business customers can turn this option off if you go into the managment consol.
Not avaliable on the new 2700HGV though as it uses the new inteligent log on system.

Thanks guys, it looks like I'll need a new one as I have a BT Voyager 2091 (staright from BT themselves)

got the feeling the 2091 can be "unlocked" for all isp's
