I bought 2 in Ikea last week for £2.25 each. I made them up with my nephews last weekend as I won't be seeing them now until next year. They had great fun doing them and were really easy. I have made my own previously and is pretty easy but the Ikea kit was so cheap it was a lot easier.
  • Thanks for this, have never done one before but I can't wait to try this year :)

Think I saw a kit of silicone moulds [no ingredients] with that baking publication that does moulds & its name escapes me! I thought about buying it but I think it was £10.99 for the magazine & the kit - how often would I use it & there are other ways to do it!
  • I'm getting the small one from our B&M in Pontypridd for £1.99 but they do a bigger one for £4.99 too, bargainous!
  • im tempted to get one of these, because everytime i go to make gingerbread its a disaster

Super - if I don't get time to make my own I might fall back on that... I'm planning on taking a big lump home to Denmark for Christmas so grandparents and kids can have a ball making cookies :) My mum is a great cook - but a rubbish baker lol but I figure if I bring the dough they can't go THAT far wrong surely? ;)
