Hi again 
So having problems with the new phone.... Galaxy Mini..... have recieved the WAP settings etc and have tried to get online and it will only let me access anything online via Googlemail account... have set up a new account and tried it with an older one..no joy at ALL! It says "Cant establish a reliable data connection to the server" then goes on to say "This could be a temporary problem or you phone may not be provisioned for data services."
Have tried it with swapping to an O2 sim (which worked despite me not unlocking it btw...?) but still comes up with the same issue - that makes me think it is either the phone or ME being thick rather than a service issue....???
What on earth?! There was me thinking that it would be as simple as just tapping on the adroid market symbol or whatever and it just working?!?!?!!?!
Please help before i have to ring customer services at Tesco (on pay as u go) and moan at them.... also - would it be them i need to ring? Or is it an issue with the phone?

Sounds like you have not got the right settings from Tesco or you have them but you have not enabled them
Try having a look under your phone setting Network
Also O2 Sim will work in the phone because Tesco run off O2 network
so the phone will only need unlocking if you put a different Sim in it like Orange, Vodafone, 3.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Try this:
Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Menu > Create New
Homepage: http://wap.tesco-mobile.com/
Access Point (contract): prepay.tesco-mobile.com
Gateway (IP) address : 193.113.200.195
Username : tescowap
Password: password
Session type: Continuous / impermanent
Port number: 9201
Authentication: Normal
