Stitched up with contract...can anyone help?

  • With things like this you need to take firm, clear and written action. You should state clearly what they must do, when by and what action you will take if they don't. Specifiy amounts claimed and state that should it be necessary to issue procedings you will add the court costs, incidental expenses and statutory interest.

Cowboy traders like this one usually respond to someone who appears to know what they're doing and be prepared to do it rather than stringing them along. Otherwise, that's exactly what they'll do - month after month. It's worth sorting things out with the few that cause them problems and expense whilst messing around with the majority who don't.
  • I am in the same boat as Michelle29504. I have been missold by Advanced Data Networks. Always have my guard up against calls like this but they had so much information about me and my current contracts and fell down the slippery slope. I was promised cash back - same contract deal as my current supplier - cancellation fees would be covered by them. Turns out none of it is what it is suppose to be. I don't have the same contract, I actually pay more because the total fee did not include VAT as my current contract rate did. I lose Internet access. No money has come in. You say to write a letter as clearly I have been missold. Do you have a draft letter that I can peruse and alter? Would I send this to Advanced Data Networks or 3?

    Help?

I think MJ meant a letter before action. If you have a clear understanding what sort of material compensation you want to claim you send this letter before taking the company to court (usually Small Claims Court online).
