I did - and funnily enough it was your previous post that made me think of doing so :p I even went to the shops and left it open - just doesn't like me :( have got it now though ;)

The JPEG itself was just about instant (in Chrome) but the Daily Record webpage took quite a while - and probably well more than a minute with IE8

ahhh! - but that doesn't take into account the randomness of my piece of c**p PC - which today won't let me use the back button or my google toolbar :rotfl::rotfl:

Well that's my 2nd response after "Have you tried WAITING ?" :D

99.9% of the time it will NOT be the website itself but the user's HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, FIRMWARE or another (like the above) PINKWARE problem :)

Usually the latter, even if it is sort of a H/W or S/W issue it's probably an incorrect usage, setup, configuration issue and therefore a P/W by default.

Is your system up to date with all system security updates and patches not only to the OS but also its browsers and relevant applications like Adobe etc.
You'd be surprised how many still try to use IE6 - something some websites detect and report immediately as not supported.

Then of course there's the Virus or something similar ...

Honestly? I think it's our Anti-virus software - all worked fine until we changed to AVG and now it's slow and sluggish, random annoyances and pop-up memory warnings  seen another one recommended so gonna change it to that when I get more than 10 mins at a time to sit down :rotfl:

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • hi all, i have just been down the town to lidl and to home bargains and noticed a few things cheaper than the main supermarkets and wondered if any of you have used the coupons for these shops?

    lidl has 2 for £1.50 on sensations - i have 2 50p off coupons
or in that home bargains they are selling the chicken & tyme flavour sensations for 59p so would get a packet for 9p each

these shops are so mobbed just now i would hate to stand in the queue to be turned away
