Blasted train companies. Got a phone call from our son at about 11.20 to say he couldn't get the normal route home from London as it had been suspended so he was coming home via a complicated route. 11.45 another call to say the last 3 trains had been cancelled and station master advised him nothing was now running until the morning- but they don't know what happened to all the last trains as they were due until almost 1am.

OH has had to get in car and drive across London to get him- I am not amused.

And my cat has disappeared, we tend to get her in at about 8pm as we have a lot of foxes in th eback garden and we worry about her. However she hasn't turned up and I have no idea where she has gone.

So sitting here on my own, going out every 5 minutes to call the cat and hoping my sonis where he thinks he is so my OH can find him in the car.
