I too watched the re-runs of extreme couponning last night.
I think "Treasure", from comments she made, was well above the radar in her store.
Another lady (the episode before) Antoinette I think commented that many stores have different coupon policies and some SA's don't know the policies - Oh yeah, been there, done that... lol.
Did anyone else think the girl that shopped with her ex-husband in tow, who also seemed to be in every scene should get back with him? Any man that accepts your coupons is a keeper surely?
CW, thats the way it goes though isn't it. Ive had massive long receipts that looked really juicy yet was 10% cheaper and smaller ones for £20 which gave me £4-£5. Ive had piles of 30+ to check and had £20 total like you or a handful and twice that. Still, I look on £10 apgs as a day's groceries/meal or 3 boxes of mog meat. Thats my logic anyway.
Windy here - lots of wind traps that I have discovered at my A. As you turn in it is Asda on the right and Waitrose to the left. A lot of A's receipts whip across to W so I traipse around their car park too to find the ones that think they've got away!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Thank you all for the kind welcome, just working out what wombling is and whether I can be bothered to walk down to the local Asda. I am really spoilt here as I live in the london suburbs so I can walk to a large Asda, and a Saisburys. I have two Tesco's a few minutes drive away, another big Sainsburys about 10 minutes drive away, a Morrison (that I haven't been to yet as it is 15 minutes in the car) 2 Lidl's and 2 Icelands.
Re Extreme couponing, did anyone else take an instant dislike to the woman in pink who was shopping for her grandmother? The moment she snapped her fingers at someone to get them to do something I just though ' I don't like you'. All the rest I was sitting there watching in awe.
My Sister lived in Canada for many years and she used to coupon all the time- it was second nature. Not quite at the same level as the TV programme though. But she had several shops nearby and would sit one evening with all their sale leaflets putting them into piles to use with different shopsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Soolin, I honed in on your words "large Asda" - tomorrow or Saturday people will be in there in their hoards buying booze and nosh for new year's eve - trust me! They will also be in a rush and in carefree spending mode (unlike us mse'ers!) and not bothered to buy where what they want is cheapest. A lot of them will also not be bothered about keeping their paws on their receipts. Weather forecast for most of the UK is breezy for the next few days!
Result is: potentially lots of receipts flapping around your Asda car park. Potentially each of these little beauts has a voucher of varying value within your grasp.
Id be bothered if I were you - just once and see if you are a winner or a loser. report back and let us know and an Orinoco virtual suit could be yours!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Thanks everyone. I am making a start on my New Years resolutions by clearing out cupboards and things and then I'll start on re working how I shop for groceries. At the moment I sort of rush round and just pick up whatever looks cheap, but then spoil it all by buying stuff I don't need which I often end up throwing away. I did buy a lot of stock from Amazon when they have their half price groceries, so I have a stock of washing up liquid and floor cleaner so that is one less thing to spend on for most of this year.
I'll probably just lurk on this thread, but I will be reading all the tips and gossip- so never fear.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
