Morrisons Brand New Promotion - Starts 2nd January !!!!!!!!

Hi,

Fron the 2nd January - 31st January Morrisons are running a massive new promotion.Similar in setup to the recent Morrisons Millions promotion every receipt from a purchase made in store (no minimum spend) will have an individual number printed on the receipt.1 receipt = 1 entry.Every single day from the 2nd Jan EVERY Morrisons store will have winning numbers generated for it and there will be FIVE winners per store per day.

The Prize - The equivalent value of the shop on the receipt to be used in store (minimum prize given will be £5).I am unsure how the prize will be given out ie voucher etc but will find out tomorrow.Therefore if you spend £50 on one receipt and its a winner you will get another £50 shop for free.

I know the details are a little sketchy as only got rough outline of the deal today but this is a MASSIVE promo by Morrisons given that there are 440 odd stores and they are doing this for every store for 5 people for 30 days.

I think from how it reads on the website that you'll be able to put in your receipt details and the name of your store, then they'll check or email you if it was a winning receipt? hth

it tells you instantly if your a winner

if you are return to store to collect

I think Morrisons will be running promotions like this on a regular basis as it's unlikely to cost them much. The last time around they offered three £100 prizes each day in each store for about a fortnight. There was a board outside my local branch which showed the winning numbers and on which they showed which numbers had been claimed. Over the fortnight a grand total of three prizes we claimed out of the forty or so available. If customers couldn't be bothered to check if they'd won £100 I can't see them being any more likely to check to see if they've won back the tenner they spent the previous day.
