I'm a cancerian.
suffering at work at mo, DS maybe the only child at nursery today  I only brought him in hoping he would have a few friends to play with. As so ill, am avoiding my pregnant friend and other friends with kids, so poor DS only has me and Dad to play with
The staff said he was the first one there and they were only expecting another 2 maybe....
His keyworker was very appreciative of her christmas gift from him, recycled luxury xmas pressies that I will never use, but I thought she was worth it, she has done wonders with him and I appreciate her hard work with him. Just wish someone could get him to listen to his parents!
About DH, I moan because I need to. At the end of the day, he is a Northern man, his words not mine, and those from the far north, will understand what I mean. He was brought up by his mum to expect certain things a certain way, not my idea! and I completely disagree, but then I am a very westernised not from this country person, living in the modern world, so we do clash on this point.
The problem with DH, he expects me to be the rock in his world and that means I am not supposed to fall ill, have accidents, end up in hospital, all of which I have done. He cannot cope when I am ill, especially if it means looking after DS all day. He can cope with him for hours, but not a full day. Esp at moment, DS is very naughty and does not listen to either of us.
Also he has problems, which means doing things outside of the home are difficult with DS and DS is very much an outdoor, throw myself around the mud, climb things, like wacky warehouse, etc kinda kid.
So the burden of looking after DS falls on me.
Yes i find it difficult not having a car, as there are lots of great activities that we could do, but the locations require a car to get to them, especially one in the middle of an industrial estate with no bus route near it! So we tend to do do local things, like park etc but you get bored of the same park and when he gets tired of cycling his bike, what can you do?0 -
I have to laugh, otherwise I would go mad.
I got a thank you card from a client, but she has written thank you to all at xx, for all your help.
Now considering no one here but ME has helped this client, I keep the card on my desk. Everytime I leave the office and come back to work on my allocated days, they have moved the card from my desk to to a shared filing cabinet! not one of them has lifted a finger to help this client! it has all been me! every step of the way, but they have decided that the thank you card belongs to them all even those 3/4 don't even know who she is!!!!
will keep flipping moving back to my desk!0 -
