doodoot, sorry you've had such a rubbish time. I would say that this is fairly normal but have only worked with adults so could be wrong. If you liken your son's bowel to a drain, imagine how much water you need to stick down a blocked drain to clear out the solid bits. It's quite a lot isn't it? At least you are starting to see some of the solid bits of blockage breaking off and getting washed away.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

To me, this sounds normal and much like what my daughter went through, including the runniness - you wonder where it's all coming from! But you have to remember the bowel is long and can hold an awful lot of waste.0

And i'm sorry if it's too much information (but i'm sure everyone here is here for the same reason) but my daughter's smelt different from normal. I think it's because the poo had been up there for so long.

Thanks Kaz and Jackie.
Honestly guys, you would not believe what a relief it is to be able to share DS's problems with others who know what it's like. :T
Not just to me, but also to DS - I've told him that he isn't on his own, that others have gone through this and it's taken some anxiety away from him.
He's only been one more time today so I reckon if he stays at this pace for a day or two then I can reduce them...famous last words.

Bless him. :A I'm sure he'll feel a lot better once it's finished - then you can try and keep on top of it after that, which is much easier after a blow out like this.
