PPS ticket

Looking for advice.
I had a ticket from PPS for parking in a network rail bay.
There was a sign on the fence but it was a Sat afternoon and I paid the ticket for the car park.
The PPS charge is £100, £75 if I pay within a week which seems incredibly expensive.
It's a pretty official ticket with a parking charge no etc.
Do I really ignore it or should I just pay what I think would be reasonable - ie £30?

Ignore it and read this pepipoo explanation of the facts, and watch the Watchdog video:

As long as what you have there is a 'parking charge notice' (not penalty) with no reference to Rail Bylaws nor Magistrates' Court then you have a bog-standard fake PCN.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's a private ticket then. Follow the advice within the forum. If youn also paid for a ticket and you still have the proof then hold on to it just in case."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
