Thanks for your reply. The reason i wanted to send for the upgrade was that
my desktop runs xp so thought it would be nice to have both.
I wasnt going to install the vista straight away, but thought it would be nice to hang on to the disc for the future.
I understand the Vista has more security features, other than that i havent a clue! LOL...

Like lolly1963 ive just ordered my 'free' vista upgrade for my laptop.
Mine has the AMD Turion 64x2 processor so should i have ordered the 64 version-running media center 2005 aswell.0 -
