I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S in January 2011, 24 month contract with cashback.
I moved in February 2011.
I applied for cashback in July 2011.., claim was accepted.
However the cheque was sent to my old address. I could find no way of changing the address on the mobiles.co.uk website. I started my saga of emails with mobiles.co.uk cashback escalations.
Since then I have sent many emails to mobiles.co.uk escalations.., they said the original cashback cheque was returned.., and another would be issued and my address changed. Nothing arrived. I chased it up again in September to be told by escalations that the replacement cheque had not been sent out and the address probably hadn't been changed, but it would be .., and a new cheque issued. I have received nothing. I have emailed since trying to chase it up.
I just tried to mail October's bill (late because I had to ask Orange for a copy) and it wouldn't accept it under my 'new' post code but would under the old.
So inspite of umpteen mails, and promises that my address would be changed, and a replacement cheque would be sent out.., Mobiles.co.uk still have the old address and I still have no cheques (2x£72 now).
Please can this be resolved.., emailing Cashback escalations seems to be doing me no good whatsoever?
Thank you.

not looking good!!!
the cashback deal is all about sticking with the ground rules. the dealer try not to pay to get revenue by people not doing so. basically within the contract length, u cannot make change anything including ur bank details, address, or tariff.......that u sign originally.
personally i hv cashbk deal with other company and got paid without any problem. and i almost getting another phone fr mobilescouk, lucky my credit check wasnt successful, coz i feel they are too difficult to get hold of, and only reply by automated respone.
anyway, gd luck and hope my info is wrong!!!0 -

There are no any rules saying that you cannot change bank details or address.
And with some deals you can change even the tariff.
That said, it made no sense to claim the cashback without having changed the address registered with mobiles.co.uk first.0 -

You said....u cannot make change anything including ur bank details, address, or tariffIt's not just about the money0 -
mobiles.co.uk do have provisions that cater for address changes (see clause 14.3.5 (iv) of the current T&Cs - OP's T&Cs should be applied if different).
Obviously, mobiles.co.uk would prefer that we all bungle our claims but in this case they appear on the face of it, to have thrown the OP a lifeline by virtue of the correspondence exchanged. IF I am right, then the LBA route appears to be the next step.
One has to be prepared to 'take appropriate action'; this is a phrase that I grew rather familiar with when I first signed up to MSE. I got a 100% pay out from those scamps at mobiles.co.uk thanks to the advice on here (ground rules) coupled with an OCD approach to claiming.0 -
Thank goodness, I did finally receive a cheque for the first Cashback claim.., so hopefully will get the second one in the next month or so. OCD and me are on good terms when it comes to applying for cashback lol.0

Sorry, though you are trying to be helpful, you ARE wrong: Of course you can change things like your address. If you have a good look at the T&CS, again, you will see, e.,g., that it clearly states that cashback cheques are sent out to the address on the bill submitted for each respective claim...0
